The mods only have so much time. Do you have ANY idea how many users are on there, not to mention how many posts are in a day? The mods could work 24/7 and STILL miss some things.

I know, but you could have spam filters and stuff. 
I suppose its easier like this, but I personally find it annoying to have to wait one hour too two days for your post to appear.

Well, people can always get past spam filters with symbols and things like that.  I don't really mind waiting at all, it's only a few hours and I can post more while I wait!
