Your First Set?
« on: January 08, 2014, 10:54:34 pm »
The title says most of it. What was the first LEGO set you received? You are allowed to put more than one if you got more than on at the same time. The first sets I got was for my 7th Birthday. They were the Aquaraiders Angler fish and the Mars Mission speeder thingy. I forget the actual name.  ::)

My first set was 7991 Recycle Truck.  I broke it a couple of days after I got it.

I think mine was the Wolfpack Tower or something.  I was so young I had my father build it for me.

Well, my first sets was small christmas present from my cousins which was the blue Technic pull back racer with an awesome wind-up motor we still have after all this time. (About 7 years ago.) But that got taken apart and much of it lost so the first set that had the biggest impact one me would be, Anakins Jedi starfighter which I got the next year for my birthday. I built about everything I could think to build out of that set :). But we've had Duplos since the beginning of time for me, and a bucket of mixed bricks and various cool looking windows/tile pieces. We had a cool hinge that looked like two 2x4s on top of each other when it was shut, (but that broke,) and some 1x4x3 roof slopes that were blue and had orange triangles on them. We always called them little legos, and I have to say that they were about the biggest impact on my Lego life next to Anakins Jedi Starfighter and Medieval Market Village. But I know too people around my age who both got the giant Knights Kingdom castle with all those different colored knight minifigure with the awesome animal prints on their armor. (I have the purple one in his full glory and really want to trade for the red one but I don't think it's happening.)

Yeah, I consider myself privileged to just have him.

I also have the Anakin's Jedi Stafighter set. It's broken now because I've had it for five years though.. :'(
