Stories / TECHNICLE: The Age of Tangata

Please no mean comments. This is made for enjoyment. Thanks! :)

Part 1: Arriving

"Look at that beautiful island!"
24 tourists were taking a boat ride on the sea near New Zealand. The island is called Motu, and has a long story. Legend tells that epic heroes once protected the island. They also passed Mako island.
"We're stopping by Motu!"

Massive temples rules the island. The biggest of them all was Panoni, The Temple of Destiny. They walked in a big bunch. Six of them decided to go alone: Simon, ?, ?, ?, Clara & Emma. They walked went to the city of No-Motu. They saw many chambers for the heroes. They suddenly entered a hall with the name of Katoka. Six big pillars, each with a hole storing a mask, held the roof.
"What is this?" They each went to a mask. Simon went to a mask with the name "Kitea - The Mask of Water" ...

Part 2: The Wai Tangata

Each of them chose a mask. As soon as they touched the masks, an elemental storm dragged the masks from the pillars and in to the storm. The masks recreated themselves into weapons. At once the storm ended, and the weapons fell on the ground. They ran to the weapons.

TRIDENT OF WAVES & INVISIBILITY
SWORDS OF FLAMES
BLADE OF ICE
BOOMERANGS OF JUNGLE & AIR
CLAWS OF STONE
HAMMER OF EARTH

The weapons glowed in elemental powers. When they touched them, they were forever changed. They got elemental suits and powers. They became the legendary Wai. Wai Tangata. Masters of the Elements.
"What happened?" Clara asked, "I have this green suit!"
"I don't know either, but I fear that we have to fight."
They walked out of the temple realizing they're stuck on the island. From being ordinary tourists to Ko Tangata. They also got new names:

WAI NOWEI (Simon), WAI OF WATER
WAI GULA, WAI OF JUNGLE
WAI NURAKA, WAI OF ICE
[...]

Part 3: Koropa Crawlers

Suddenly the temple began shaking. They ran out. They could hear squeaking, loud squeaking. Thousands of spider-like crawlers had made their way up from the underworld. Many of them jumped pretty high. They were green and orange. In the same moment all of them were gone.
"What was that?" Nuraka stared at the temple.
They walked into the temple again. On a wall they could see drawings telling a story. The story of Wai Tangata, the only hope for Motu.

To be continued ...

I had to change this because of several comments.

Nah, i liked the stars next to the logo, it just fit with the name. The subtitle would work with the old logo too. :P
The theme has changed and so has the logo :D

General Discussion / Re: LEGO Star Wars Fan Art

I can give you the baseplate i always use. Originally, i used to draw minifigures' legs, arms, and torsos differently, until i decided to grab my Paladin concept art, turn it into a generic white minifigure, and then constantly use it for this stuff. So the only thing i actually am drawing is the details on the torsos, arms, legs, and hips.

Here's the art model:

Nice, but that links is off.  I need to approve images, so please don't post a link until it has been approved :)

I'm really excited! I'm working on Ikuta, but a little more complicated build. (Phew!)
Neat!
I wasn't collecting LEGO first time around, but I'm going to get as much of next years sets as possible :D
Yay! Cool!  :D
My favourites are Kopaka and Gali :D

Sooooo true!  :D
Tahu and Pohatu are also awesome.  Don't Onua at all, and Lewa is a little....bland :P

I like Pohatu's mask. :P
It is nice.  But, his arms are really cool.  I just wish that the Toa/Masters were cheaper...  20$ is a lot for 100 pieces...

Action Figures / Re: Are Constraction figures LEGO or not?
« Last post by LK901 on October 17, 2014, 09:18:36 pm »
This is a debate that many people get into.   I personally think they are in between LEGO (bricks) and action figures.  A mix of both :P
What is your opinion about constraction figures being LEGO or not? ;)

When people say they don't think it is I always think: "Special LEGO" I really don't know what to say. :P
Sort of.  Special LEGO kind of makes sense, but they are similar to action figures :P
